ABOUT US

The National Black MBA Association, Inc. (NBMBAA) is a non-profit organization of minority MBAs, business professionals, entrepreneurs and MBA students. With more than 6,000 members working in both private and public sectors throughout the country, we share a commitment to education and business -- the two principal keys to the economic development of the African-American community.

Established in 1970, the National Black MBA Association is dedicated to creating partnerships that result in creating intellectual and economic wealth in the black community. Our geographical diversity is strong; we encompass 39 chapters stateside as well as a presence in The United Kingdom.

In partnership with over 400 of the country's top business organizations, the association has inroads into a wide range of industries as well as the public and private sector. Yet all of NBMBAA's partners have one thing in common: they are all committed to the organization's goals and values.

The National Black MBA Association has more than 8,000 members and represents more than 95,000 MBA graduates. We connect individuals, companies and business schools through five areas that are key to our constituents:

  1. Education
  2. Career
  3. Leadership
  4. Entrepreneurship
  5. Lifestyle

The organization gains its strength from a strong belief in community and a commitment to its development through economic and educational development initiatives that support the global African American community.

Established in 1976, the Philadelphia Chapter proudly represents more than 400 members from all over the Delaware Valley, representing many industries in both the private and public sectors.
