The National Organization
The National Black MBA Association® (NBMBAA) was founded in 1970 at a two-day conference held at the University of Chicago, by a group of African American MBA students, faculty, advisors, and businessmen.
The NBMBAA® has grown from a two-day conference at the University of Chicago to one of the country’s largest professional, minority organizations with 9,000 members, 46 professional chapters, 28 collegiate chapters, more than 30 Leaders of Tomorrow® (LOT®) programs, and more than 300 corporate partners. We strive to increase awareness and facilitate access to graduate and management education programs within management fields.
At the NBMBAA®, empowering Black business professionals through strategic business forces is fundamental to our character and the way we represent our members.
